Fog Lamps on my GXE

Called the dealer about adding fog lights to my 96 GXE and was told Nissan no longer make the fog light kit which I need to add fogs. Is this ture? I could never have OEM fogs on my car? I looked under the bumper and I do have the plugs for the fogs but need the switch that goes on the dash and or other wireing

Will I have to look for after market fogs?

Look on eBay and check the FS section. You'll find some fogs sooner or later.

Yeah, you'll find some in the FS section soon enough. I looked for about 6months, but only because I prefer to deal locally, and wanted a cheap price.

GL!

Can't you just get this kit?

It has that switch you need I believe. I do know 96 and 97 have different bumpers but don't know if the fogs are different or the same size. Either way I will get that kit for mine.

That kit won't work for '95-'96 because the holes for the fogs are differen't. Its gonna look bad if you try to put those fogs into the '95-'96 bumper cause the hole is bigger and different shaped. Just check eBay and the FS section rather then making your front end look bad.

You could even try searching your local junk yard.

Yeah but won't I need more then just the fogs? I do have the wireing but I'll need relys and the switch. Anything else?

I would get the switch from a junkyard and then put in after market fogs. it will be easier to cut the bumper like that too.
