Electrical problems?

So.. I finally replaced the EGR valve and finally no more CEL! But, the car started stalling again the next day with two new CELs, one for park/neutral position switch (AT) and one for MAF. I verified the MAF connector, and my mechanic put on another neutral postion switch from a junk car.

Still showing neutral position switch CEL, so we replaced the computer with one from a 96. Went no CEL for 500 miles, and now the same two CELs are popping up again.

Seeing as how I know the neutral pos. switch is good, and the computer keeps throwing it. Could there be an electrical short somewhere? And if so where do the wires for these sensors run?

Also, I have two extra computer/electronic pieces for the car I was hoping someone could identify. One is a black box (the BCM i think?) and the other just has an M1 on it, I believe it goes under the glove box?

I don't believe so. If I remember the code said something along the lines of something being blocked or bypassed? It turned out the EGR tube was clogged, the EGR itself was completely seized. I'm going to pull the codes again tomorrow morning.

Ugh, I got alot of new codes too...
1101 - Inhibitor Switch
1305 - Fuel Pump Control Module
0803 - Absolute Pressure Sensor
1302 - MAP/BARO SW Solenoid/Valve
0801 - Vacuum cut balve bypass valve

Was sitting in the code for 10 minutes to double check every code.

Put back in your 95 ecu. Your getting most of those codes from having the 96 ecu installed on your 95.

Yes 96 and 95 ecu are similar but not in all aspects. Don't quote me but I think they started moving to different emissions standards and also the obd 1 started going to obd 2. And double check your vacuum lines also

Looks like my 95 ecu is bad. Car heistates and stalls with it installed plus shows MAF code. With the 96 ECU it it only shows the above codes and the car has only stalled once in a week. Guess ill stick with the 96, hopefully if I figure out where some of those vacum lines go it should stop stalling.
