Codes, Codes, Codes

On my 1998 SE today I fixed the MAP/ Boost code thanks to member djipka...

Reset the "service engine light" and after driving I am now getting 2 more codes.

My reader says # 138 & 139 which refers to Oxygen sensor.

Can someone tell me which sensor I need to check and is it wise to just replace after 150,000 miles?

Thanks,

JT MAX

Might as well replace them all. I heard the saying that once one goes, they all start going after each other.

If you got the codes for the o2 sensors, why are you asking us if they need to be replaced? If they didn't, there wouldn't be any codes

I just replaced the MAP / Baro sensor as a result of a code. This is a new code after driving 5 miles after a light reset. I am asking as I was wondering if if I jumped the gun or should I drive some miles, reset and see what happens. Should we replace an item every time we see a code?

I had both of my O2 go bad within a week last year. I never really saw a difference in driving or MPG.
I don't know about the OEM. I mean I don't think it's worth the money. There are some generic, universal O2s on eBay that cost something like $20 and many people have used them with no problems. I went with BOSCH because of the warranty/guarantee, and the price. I payed like less than $80 a piece last year.
