Replaced Belts and now there's a knocking noise
I first thought it was impossible to loosen the power steering pump pivot bolt. That 14mm bolt is high up there. After reading this website I was able to loosen it:

It shows you the swivel adapters and socket extension needed.
Before I loosened the power steering pump pivot bolt I broke the adjustable bolt, the square bracket, and the locking nut. I had to order new ones for $22.

the power steering bolt was a B*tch and a half, probably the hardest bold I've ever had the displeasure of getting to..I have small hands, did it outside in february made new tools out of other tools to tool tools
( talking about the bolt behind the power steering motor)
Forgot to add, if anything was loose, you'd hear it. The belts would squeal like crazy, if you damaged the tensioner maybe that, but even then it makes a grinding sound, not pinging. Maybe you over tightened the serpentine belt with the tensioner?
