trouble starting

i know this must be asked many times on the 4th gen forums. but can someone help me out. recently (with weather getting lot colder... dont know if its a coincidence)

anyways my car has trouble starting. the revs start really low and after holding the ignition for a few secs while the car struggles to start, then it'll finally catch. almost sounds like not enough fuel is there when the car is starting. but im going with alternator being the issue?

Why do you suspect the alternator? Is it acting like a low battery at all?

Any codes?

If your car is cranking strong, but not starting very well then:

Clean the throttle body and the IACV.
If you still have a hard start, check the engine coolant temp sensor.

clean the iacv and tb as mentioned and check codes

also it could have the same problem as mine. My high idle function for cold starting in my tb is gone so I have to give it gas on every cold start.

I'm gonna pick up a tb to fix this soon, whenever I stop being lazy.

Edit : here's a thread that could help if cleaning the iacv and tb doesn't help
