power steering hose

so today i went to Firestone(first mistake) to get some new tires. they gave me a call a little while ago and told me i had a leak in a power steering hose... they didnt give me much more info then it was $65 to have them fix it. are these hoses a pain in the *** to get to and fix... and if i can get to it is the part itself $50... should i just have firstone do it for me...?

im sure theres already a post about this but i dont feel like looking through them to find the answer i need...

The hoses are something like $20 together - I think there are two of them. The upper one is kind of difficult to access. You should first make sure there is a leak (Fire$tone)...

Easy fix. Save your $$ and do it yourself. Give Dave B at Southpoint Nissan a call. His prices and customer service can't be beat.
