Anyone use a thermometer in your 4th Gen?

i wanted to know if anyone uses an aftermarket indoor/outdoor accurate thermometer for the outside air in your cars?? i was looking and couldn't really find much.. i wanted to find something small and simple.. something that could be fabricated to the dash, sorta out of sight.. anyone?

Just get an aftermarket auto-dim mirror with a compass for like $200 and install that. You'll get the auto-dim feature plus what you want in a nice, sleek mirror.

Can't he just install the auto-dim mirror from an I30?

The old timers way of rolling down the window and sticking your hand out works pretty good too.

i mean i guess its cool to know the outside temps., but do you really NEED to know the actual temperature? just curious, just wanna know why this would be so important.

In my '99 I have the AMB button to tell me the outside temp. and a Donnelly temp/compass mirror to tell me the inside temp.

In my '96, I have a semi-cheesy $10 in/out thermo. that I got from Wal-Mart. It's not the prettiest but it works. It even has a night time indiglo button.

That doesn't include temp. I don't even think it has a compass. All it does is auto-dim.
