It looks cool, but in all seriousness, who is going to buy a family sedan that is a lambo orange? I'll agree that it looks nice, but it certainly isnt practical and sure would stick out like a sore thumb.

Amen to that. I've always liked airmattdog's car, even though I don't typically like a lot of flash and glitz, but his is incredibly tastefully done. I can't say the same for the OP's car in it's current state at all.

you need to stop postin this bs.

the op car does not look good because of the color, the color looks good because of the car. the build is clean enough that he can pull off the lambo orange. that color would look weak on 90% of maximas, yours included.

the black/green is not clean. you seem to have used the wrong word. it's not necessarily ugly (although not my style in any way, shape, or form) but it is definitely not clean.

you need to take this paint job as an opportunity to start over. get rid of that kit, put your stock bumpers back on, and paint it black (unless he's going to jamb it this time). then get rid of the tailights, stop worrying about non-sense and drop your car and get some decent wheels. then you need to find a part out and swap interiors. at that point you will have a decent starting point and you can start doing small accessory mods.

Thank you for taking the time to write all that. You and I may disagree on aesthetics a good bit but if there's one thing we can agree on it I think it's the definition of what "clean" is

OP return your car to stock and throw on a stillen or ionic lip kit with a drop, and that will be "clean"

I really don't car much on how one body kit looks versus another body kit looks. For me its all about the love, passion and LOTS of hard work a person puts into there car. Looking back on the black/green car for example, a car that definetly doesn't fit my taste or liking BUT you can tell that the owner put a whole lot of money (for the very least) into that car to get it to look the way it does, gotta give him/her credit for that.

As far as the orange max, thats one of the very first maximas that I've seen when I first started browsing the org a few years that got me to stick around. I wonder if he actually sold it, I remember it was for sale a while back.

i can't return my car to stock.. my stock bumpers are screwed up from the last wreck..... i don't have no money to buy replacement bumpers.... and if you have the thought of, how am i affording another paint job, is because i am not paying for any of it... it is free..... that is why i cant do anything right at the moment... i am broke... where i work i get paid 20-35 bucks every other week.. i am not allowed to get another job, and i am not allowed to do anything as far as getting a job..... now if someone is nice enough to give me a stillen lip kit.. then i will gladly get a hammer and break these fiberglass bumpers.............. or better yet.. someone give me a 96 bumper and a stillen front lip and that would be great... but other than that..... i'm still happy with my car....... now i am only asking what color would go well with my car in the setup i currently have it in now, if you guys can help me out on that. thanks. i really appreciate it. and keep in mind my car was or is a show car in a small process... and i aint mad btw... so keep that out ya heads too.

I like the color orange, and on the right car a nice metallic or neon shade can look good, but "Cleveland Browns" orange just looks terrible on any vehicle to me.

(Maybe it's just cause I'm from NE Ohio and I'm sick of seeing it...)

That is far from clean, I'd call it more of a mess.

That orange max was indeed very clean looking.

Quick Reply: This should have been a color option on the maxima.
