Code: 0807 (EVAP) 0111 (EVAP)

Would someone look at the manual for '97 Maxima and let me know what code is 0807? Unfortunately, the information available on the .Org does not have information for 1997 as the manual was for '99 cars.

I've learned that the 0111 code tends to be a 'generic' code and the 0807 is most likely the specific cause for the warning and would like to know the remedy.

Thank you for your help.

Thank you sir. Anyone have experience with fixing these issues or potential costs associated with the fix?

Also, does anyone have pictures or a manual diagram showing what this solenoid/EVAP canister is?

I'd like to. But I'm in the process of selling the car and a check-engine light is not helpful for price negotiations.

That's a common problem with Maximas mine had that years ago. The solenoid for the evap canister gets stuck. Its located under the trunk, drivers side. All it took was some cleaning of the shaft and WD40, don't want to jinx myself but code has not come back in a few years. Otherwise change the solenoid it does not cost much at all. Find a copy of the FSM on the org all you need to know is in there.
