i like the wheels and am not interested in adding weight with new ones. My only concern is that this will look wrong. I think there will be a goofy looking gapon the left and right where the sides kinda "flare" out... please lemme see some pics.

Usually in the winter i drive around lowered and riding on my steel rim sor sometimes my MB motoring rims. My chromes def come off for that time of season. I kinda like the look of the steel rims & my drop. FYI: i have GC's.

I lowered mine with 15". I want new wheels but cant afford them right now. I dont think it looks bad, just gets rid of the wheel gap some.

There is another person on here named Vinipux that did the same thing. I saw his the other day and it was not too bad. Bigger wheels fill the gap more but the handling was still great.

get the 18" rims
and then lower it..
or vise versa...
stock rims and lowered... DOES NOT LOOK GOOD

well.. to my eyes it doesn't... i mean the wheel is light and all..
but makes the maxima look... a bit too ugly..

The stock 15 inch steelies with hubcaps are heavier than most aftermarket wheels unless you get some 50lb bling bling chrome ghetto wheels. The alloy 15s probably aren't however.

As far as the looks, I think it a LITTLE strange, but unless you have your car slammed to the ground it won't look bad. It's far worse to have 17s or larger and NOT be dropped. I've got ground controls, and I will be driving this winter with a slight drop (I'm raising it a bit) on aftermarket 15" 6 spokes.
