Nope, 07 is the last year for them. 08 and up now have R "Design", which is just a bunch of visual upgrades, no performance, which really stinks.

The Angle Gear has cost Volvo a ton of money, that's for sure. From what I have read and what I can tell, the 06's and the 07's are FAR superior to the earlier years. I think Volvo really lost a ton of money through their certified program with those years. So far so good on mine, like I said, I absolutely love it and I love the Sonic Blue.

 

Can a bad oil pressure switch spray oil upwards around manifold intake..

 

No. Oil pressure switch is located on the bottom of the car, passenger side, on the oil pan.

 

have a 96 max and tran fluid leaking badly. bought a traceline starter kit for leak detection. Put an ounce of the dye in the tranny and drove down the hiway a bit. got back home, put on the yellow glasses and fired up the UV flashlight and lo and behold, driver side cv axle is leaking. bad seal most likely. You might try tracerline, takes the guesswork out of it.

I did degrease beforehand to make it easier to spot the dye. but i dont think it would have mattered. bright yellow showed up real nice.
