Slave cylinder

i've been searching and reading threads for the past 2 days and have come up with nothing yet thats my issue

first off, where is the slave cylinder before i start taking apart the car? even alldata doesnt show a location

my issue is the clutch pedal sticking after pushing it it, i'll stick for a second then smack the bottom of my foot upon release, sometimes it'll stay down after the clutch engages....

i checked the master and its 100% full........the fluid is black but its full.....

i am thinking its the slave itself, any ideas?

Slave cylinder is bolted to the transmission, so it can actuate the clutch lever. If you stand on the drivers side of the car near the tire, it is at about the 10-11 o'clock position on the transmission.

Take the air box out to see it more clearly. you might want to try to spray the pedal its self with some lube. The slave is very simple, it should work or not work. And if you're full it's not leaking much.

yeah....this is such a strange problem

i was expecting to see a nearly empty master cyl when i popped the cap...so thats making me think its not a leak

problem solved, after more reading how how to properly diagnosis the problem it was 100% narrowed down to the slave

changed it out, blead the system and now the pedal feels nice all the way through travel without any sticking near the bottom
