Replacement radiator fan

Hey

I'm currently doing a front mount turbo conversion and I'm planning on using a couple of slimmer radiator fans to replace the large chunky stock ones. I've found two super thin 12 inch fans that put out 1200 CFM each. Does anyone know what the rating for the stock fans are? or has anyone else replaced the fans with after market ones - and what CFM ratings were they?

Cheers.

Stock fan ratings are always a "guess-timate" unless they have been actually flow tested. The twin 12" Pullers that you are talking about may not fit and may be too big for the radiator. The twin 10" pullers that are almost identical to the set you are talking about may fit better. You need a semi-airtight seal between the fans and the radiator to create the "suction" needed to create the area of low pressure behind the radiator so the air moves through it to cool it down. With the 12" pullers you are describing, it sounds like the fans may be too big and will not seal against the radiator.
