about JDM maxima's true or false
about JDM maxima's true or false
soo i did a little search about how to tell if my maxima was JDM or not and i got this and i wan to know if is true or false soo here what i got
(VQ30DE's r made in Japan actually all the maximas i believe from 2001 and down r fully assembled in japan 2002+ is in the Nissan Plant in USA with the VQ35DE anyway the fastest way 2 check is 2 look @ the VIN if its JN1CA then its JAPANs if its 1NCA then its JDUSA)

i know it is but i just wan it to know if it true or not thas all dont need to get mad people just cuz i wan to know my maxima realy good you know

Oh ****...I know a simple way. You live in Rhode Island, right? Is it RHD? If it isnt, then it definitely isnt JDM. Does it have an American VIN?

The Nissan Maxima is sold in the United States and Canada. Most pre-2004 Maximas were built in Oppama, Japan, until the current North American Maximas started being assembled in Smyrna, Tennessee.
The Maxima models are also known as Nissan Cefiro or Nissan Laurel in various markets (IE Japan). The US-spec Maxima shares the FF-L and D platforms with the Nissan Altima and Nissan Teana; the Teana is often exported as the Nissan Cefiro or Nissan Maxima to other markets (not to be confused with the US-spec Maxima).
