Intermittent Extremely High Idle

So every once and a while when I go to start my car after it sitting a few minutes after being driven until fully warmed up the idle goes way high, to about 2200 or so and just stays there. It doesn't do this when cold, just after being restarted once warmed up. Its very annoying and doesn't make putting it in gear or up shifting too nice. It happens only rarely too, and i have no idea what could be causing it. Maybe the IACV? I never cleaned it, but i have cleaned the TB, and i did all the tune up maintenance on the car when i bought it. If anyone can help me out that would be great, thanks.

Check the high idle cam cold and when hot. Is it staying on the high idle mark when it is hot? If so, check the thermo element and see if it is moving.

It could be the IACV, clean it and see what happens.
