Streetglow LED's

Just out of curiosity, has anyone used the Streetglow adjustable LED singles?

http://streetglow.com/site/led.adjledsingles.php

That's a link to the product.

I know for some of you guys will think it's silly, but for someone like me with not much experience...it seems worth the ~15 bucks for them if they're bright enough. Saves me time and looks clean, which again for some of you, you could easily make it looks clean without these...

but i'm not good at that kind of thing.

$15 bucks for 4 LEDs that you still have to wire into your car's electrical? For the same price, you can even get the presolder LEDs; except you'll have a lot more than 4.

I actually am looking at these to.

I want to make a 'mood light' type thing that newer cars (such as the Acura TL) have.

I was also thinking of drilling TINY holes (at an angle somehow) in the I30 auto-dim mirror cover so it spreads a faint blue glow over the shifter/console area.

I have no idea how I am going to go about it though, as of yet.

That's definitely one thing I like about Merlyn's MKV GTi, tiny red LEDs in the map light that give you just enough light to see, but not be distracting. PITA sometimes to find something in my interior without turning on the map or dome light.

Yep, and if you're like me with LED boards up there...that **** is bright when you've been driving for 20 minutes in the pitch black lol. If I turn both my lights on and go outside the car, even through 30% tint it looks like daytime inside. lol.

I was thinking of using 3mm 3000mcd blue LED's and somehow drilling little holes. But I don't want the LED sticking out...cause then light will be ALL over the cabin most likely. I just want it focused on the console/shifter area.

And then get a couple other to put under the dash, but again, have them very dim as to not be distracting.
