brake problem?
After heavy braking is there suppose to be some sort of a burning smell? I was going about 100mph on the highway and almost pass my exit, so I had to brake kind of hard. I am thinking the burning smell can't be normal, could it? Also, after that heavy braking, I noticed a weird sound when I brake. It sounded almost like air leaking out or something. Any ideas? This sound went away after awhile though.
Btw, after a spirited drive when I really pushed my car, there's also a odd sound coming from the SC. Maybe it's normal, I'm not sure. It's hard to describe, but I'll try to describe it the best that I can. It kind of sounded like this: WAAHHAANGG WAAHHAANGG.
Something like that. Should I be worry? Plus, like the brake problem, the sound went away after awhile too.

When you burn brake pads they emit a very distinctive order. Are you running stock pads? If so perhaps you should upgrade to somthing a little better. Also be sure to cool down your rotors after a hard stop buy keeping the car moving for a few minutes. If you stop completely and park while the rotors are super heated, the area where your pads sit on the red hot rotor will not cool down the same as the rest of the rotor. That can cause the rotor to warp.
same here
when i was on the toll way breaking from 140 to like 60...well...it smelt bad!!
but it's normal...but high speed breaking will produce a lot of heat...and slotted or crossdrilled rotors are design to let the heat go hehehe...
