I really wanted to get that far too, but too much money was going into a $7000 car....
To do it the way I wanted I was looking at 3-4k in just being able to have a paddle shifting maxima...

I might do it in the Q

ones I found were $400....

but I wanted to do the whole computer setup with the screen that still had control over the audio system and I had complete access on the fly

No Q45s were ever made in stick, the F50 Q has that auto shift thing, but thats it...I can probably splice off those wires and use paddles...alot of custom work...not to mention the TCM in the Q is the same as the ones out of the 350z and they have TCM controllers as well.

All this info was founding by searching (for the noobs)

Quit your whining. Swap in a 350Z manual with an adapter already.

Yeah very unique! My clock broke ages ago so I just tore the whole thing out and covered the hole with a piece of chrome tape, that is reacting chemically with the super glue I used, and now its turning into a milky tinted chrome.........................................
