Looking for someone to LED my speedometer

Not sure if this should go in the classifieds but...

Looking for someone to LED my 99 speedometer.

Here is how it looks right now:

Here is what I want:

Basically...I want 5 blue LED's (3000mcd perhaps?) where the bulbs typically go and then 4 red LED's (same mcd) where the needles are. I don't want the needles cleared out though.

Here is a good writeup: link

I just don't feel comfortable soldering in limited space. I can solder two wires together on a bench, but not in a tight space such as behind a cluster.

Let me know if you are interested. I'll have to buy a spare speedometer temporarily and I'm willing to ship mine to you.

Your price should include labor + parts + shipping/insurance.

I think kzoosho does work like that. Also, you could try blackonblack98?

Yeah I know they do LED work (I'm having black do my switches and climate control and kzoosho do my tails and projectors most likely) but I didn't know if they wanted to do something like a speedo since it's kind of sensitive from what I understand.

But since I'm buying a bezel from Kyle most likely, I'll just have him do it and save on shipping lol.

Thanks.

I had the switches from him before....sold them cause I thought I was selling the car...and since I'm not I want another set.

The guy does great work. I also have defroster, hazard, and dimmer buttons done by him. Definitely good work.

Ilya, I did my dash in about 15 minutes man,
Its really easy for us 99 guys!!!

As for the red needles, you would sand them, and put a red l.e.d behind it...(i didnt do it)

Also if you go with white, the needles stay red, and the guages have a blue film behind them
so they appear somewhat blueish....

my pix suck..but here is what mine looks like....

Did you solder them in or are those just LED bulbs?

I think he wants someone to solder in LEDs, as the bulbs really suck and burn out easily.

Plus the bulbs will not take care of the needles.

I've had blue LED bulbs. They look nice, but my needles are barely visible at night. The edited pic above with the blue dash is my speedometer. Both those pics are of my car.

He can do auto climate controls much better than manual. He actually refuses to work on manual climates.

I think I spent like $80. I sent him my switches and he sent his to me that were already done.
