Need real quick help on axles

Does both axles have to come off to remove the transmission? I have the driver side off and just wondering if the passenger side has to come off.

Its an auto tranny

Some people leave the RH axle in the car, but in my opinion it makes it really difficult to reinstall the transmission. Sometimes a little extra work can avoid headaches later.

I just replaced the passenger side axle in mine today. It was pretty quick and easy to do. The longest and hardest part was replacing the seal on the transmission in the tight space. Since you're pulling the transmission, you won't have this problem.

Sure, you can pull the trans with the passenger side axle in place, but it makes it more of a job. Are you going to try to reinstall the trans with the passenger axle in place as well?

I just did my 5 speed swap, so I had to change the axles anyways. But removing and reinstalling the passenger axle really isnt that difficult.

I just changed a clutch yesterday in a 95se and didn't touch the passenger side. I actually think it helped leaving it there to line up everything. Just causes more work if you ask me.
