r34 headlight problem, both fogging up

r34 headlight problem, both fogging up

Both of my r34 fogged up after washing my car today . anyone else had this problem . idk what to do now any ideas ? did anyone deal with this before ? Thx in advance

id dry it out with compressed air than put a new bead of silicone around it.

deff have a leak. Have they ever been opened?if you feel ok opening them. Take some of the silicone packets from like beef jerky and put them in the headlight. That will help with fogging also.

No they never been open , I have them for about a week or so , I never opened up the headlights and I don't think I can do it , my car is a daily driver plus I work full time and go to school

when u wash ur u probably used pressureized water, normal rain water or splash from puddles dont hit the headlight with pressure, but when the water is pressued thats when u know that theres a opening in the lights for water to get in. use some silicone arnd the top to reseal it

yea i was thinking about that too , but it was nice today , didnt have time then tom it suppose to rain and snow =( , during week i got no time . did anyone else had this problem with the r34?

my r34's fog up slightly also. i havent had the time to run a bead of silicone around them yet. i plan on doing this when it gets a little warmer out.

sound like you have new headlight, but just not sealed properly.As everyone else is saying, just add silicone on the edges where a leak could be.

Yea , I'm working on it right now , just got the head lights taken out , drying them out a bit , I'm but silicone all around and lil by the bulbs I guess will see how it goes

don't open them. That silicone r34's use is tough stuff to mold correctly again. The bead of silicone around the outside should be all you need. Double check that all of your rubber elbows are attatched.
