Question for people who have replaced their clutch.
Ok, my car, a 97 GXE 5-speed with almost 88k miles, needs its clutch replaced. I step on the gas, the RPM climes, and I barely move. So, I was wondering if you had your clutch replaced with an OEM one at a dealer, how much did they charge you for everything? Also, if you purchased an aftermarket one, which one, how much, and did you do it yourself, or did you take it to a mechanic (how much did he charge)? If you did it yourself, how long and hard was it. I noticed in the searches that some people pay about 180 for a clutch from the dealer, others were higher. Yes, lots of questions, but depending on your situation, you only have to answer 1 or 2 of them.
Thanks
Thanks

for the same price or less you can probably get a aftermarket clutch. ASk your nissan dealer if they will install an aftermarket clutch.
