Ive read that the 0-60 is 6.7 seconds, but im guessing thats for a manual SE. Whats the 0-60 for a GLE? So far thats the only car i can find!! Living in Maine sucks! I really want a Max, but i cant take being car-less for much longer.
Right now im looking at a 1996 GLE (black) with 58,000 miles. She wants 13.5 but Im hopping she will go down a bit. Anywho, i really want a standard, but a max is max. Im just curious how much performace is lost in the auto tranny.

13.5 is a little high too. I got a 95 GLE back in 98 for that much! Keep looking and don't pay that much!

 

are the 0-60 times different between the different models of 96 maxima. I have a GXE and dont think i hit 7.7 in a 0-60 test.

the transmission plays a huge factor here....if you are 5 spd, you should be high 6's to low 7's adjusting also for driver skill.....auto just add a second or so.
