95 maxima se will not start?

Hello, I get codes of 0607,0701.0101,0407. If I read this correct, missfire #2 ,cam position sensor, crankcase position sensor, random misfire. It has been hard starting for awhile , cranks and stutters, now cranks, stutters feels like it wants to start but will not. No smell of gas, have not checked the plugs. It has been running rough for 2 weeks, 95 se 5speed 185,00 miles. new plugs 2 months ago, new starter, alternater, battery within 1.5 years. Any help where to start to diagnose? Any help would be great, thanks! I really don't want to have to tow it to my mechanic, thats like 85 dollars here in chicago.

your cam position sensor and crankcase position sensor will cause a no start. Take em out, wipe em off, and try again.

Well, any more codes? Have you checked to see if it's not getting spark, or fuel?

I agree on the crank and cam sensors, Not quite sure which one is the one down in between the trans and engine but when I did my clutch on my 95, I tried removing it only to break the damn 10mm bolt holding it so after this, the damn sensor was loose and sometimes when coming to a stop it would move out a bit and stall my car. Now that you have cleaned the sensors, make sure they're secure in their spot.

btw what part of chicago are you near?

ok changed cam and both crankshaft sensors, new plugs, I think the # 2 fuel injector is bad, swapped coils and unplugged no change in # 2. Still hard to start, codes still read 0101 and 0407 even after clearing and driving until they pop back up. Could this be a ground issue? Its at a mechanic now and he sounds puzzled too. Runs a bit rough but still spins the tires. I'm in Andersonville. Thanks to all your replys.

So it intermittently won't start and misfires in cylinder 2?

Have you checked the two grounds at the LIM?

Also, I'd try wiggling the engine control harness where it passes by the right strut tower, they're known to fail there.
