As long as they fit in with no major deformities or having to cut, I'd take oem 3rd gen over 20 dollar idiotzone mats anyday. I actually have both cars so I may just be able to test for ****s and giggles

Shouldn't look that bad, apparently the 4th and 5th gen floormats fit the 3rd gen decently enough.

Oh ok, I was gonna say! I've searched a few dealerships for stock 3rd gen floormats but they've been discontinued and and there's no NOS (for the ricers, this means New old stock lol) Thankfully I found some brand new looking floormats at the JY I used to work at this past year

post some 4th gen mat pics and we'll all take a vote

I actually think the 3rd gens have more "maxima" kick to them than the 4ths.. you can actually read the Maxima sign on them as opposed to the 4th gen ones saying it further back where the seat is. I'm a bit of a ricer and I'm rocking 96 i30 seats and floormats in my max simply because they were brand spankin' new looking and I got em from work Love that rear one piece with the infiniti logo on it.

Hell 15 bucks aint bad, worse than can happen is that they dont fit right so you just go to a self serve car wash, spray em down and resell em for 5-10 bucks more in the 3rd gen classifieds

You guys I've been looking around on eBay for awhile and no one has the 96 I30 floormats. Does anyone know where I can find them and if not how much would a dealership charge me for them? Speaking of which do they even make them anymore?

how ridiculous would it look? not very.
how ridiculous is it to downgrade? very. unless the 3rd gen's were made differently, to where they never stain, snag, discolor, etc.

just my opinion.
