stock headlight wattage?

stock headlight wattage?

hey whats the watts of a stock headlight bulb on a 95 se?
I am using some xenon bulbs which are only 55/65watts
an my harness isnt lookin to good!I thought 55/65 would be
safe.

You shouldn't have any problems with that power... stock is 45/65..

I haven't heard of any 9004 coming in 55/65 though...

well my headlight wasnt coming on,an me an sweetsound2001
,looked at the harness an it looked a litlle toasty lol.He
messed with it an now I've had no problems all night.the
back of the bulb says 55/65.does the 99 headlights use somthing
diffrent then the 95 cause i have 99 headlights?

All 4th Gens used 9004

well hmm lol,the bulb clearly says 55/65,an the harness
look well like burnt toast.ODD shuff man.

What is the BRIGHTEST halogen they have in the market?
I don't care if its yellow or white.....
I just want bright....

100/80 Watts....but they'll fry your harness, i got mine and put them on and lasted about a year and it finally gave in last week, now i'm gonna go with the stock wattage....

uh oh

ive been runnin xenon blue bulbs 100/80 for over a year now, what do i look for to see if their causing damage, cuz ive had no traces visually so far, what should i look for under the hood???

Look at the bulbs and the sockets. Those are the ones that melted on me!

and try takin out the bulb out of the socket and check inside the socket itself, if you see or smell like its been burning then you should change your bulbs.
