Daytime running lights

hey guys, i'm curious on how i would go about installing daytime running lights that will only run ignition power. what do i need to start... i currently have some on my 98 i30 by just using a probe tester to see which wires on my engine were ignition powered lol (not the smartest) but it's really low wattage. i really want lights that will come on automatically bcuz i got hit by someone who ran a stop sign and only my park lights were on so his defense was that he cudnt see me.

where do i start???

This looks to be a simple and inexpensive solution.

Was it dark enough to need your headlights on?
