How illegal is it to change my corner bulbs from amber to red?

How illegal is it to change my corner bulbs from amber to red?
I have an i30t, so my corner bulbs are also my blinkers. I dont know if its the same for the Maxima but anyway, how illegal would it be if I change them from amber to red?

No red is allowed on the front of the car. Only police vehicles may have red.
