Uneven brake pad wear

Hi, my rear brake pads are wearing unevely. What I mean is, my rear left pad is wearing much quicker then my rear right pad. This has happened before, but I thought the mechanic fixed it. My rotors are fairly new, brembo cross drilled...I know cross drilled rotors eat the pads faster, but one shouldn't be lower than the other.

Before I go and change the brakes, what should I look to, to solve this problem?

Have you checked the parking brake cable yet?
Made sure the piston isn't sticking?

Seized caliper, or seized caliper slider pins..

Just like everyone said, Check your caliper for any sticking. The rears are known for siezing.I had to change both rears on my max last year

i'll do that...unfortunately i don't have much free time to change the brakes myself right now so i think i'll let a mechanic look at it for me.

I JUST (2 hrs ago) swapped my driver side caliper (thank God I had a working spare) because it was bad.

My front driver side pads were still pretty good. My passenger side brakes were shot (the inner pad had NO wear marker left, it was down the metal almost). I put new pads on, changed that one caliper, and my car brakes a little better, no more grinding, and slight vibration due to stuck caliper.

Don't you have to return the old caliper to get the core charge refund for the new (rebuilt) one you just installed?
