1/2 mile drag strip, why am I beating all these cars?

I have a 98 i30t (automatic), the only performance mods I have is a Stillen catback and muffler and an Injen CAI. (and fresh oil change 5W 30)

I went to this off-road half mile strip, and I won 5 out of 5, I couldnt believe it, Im auto too. All these cars were modded except the Lincoln Continental.

Race 1: 1999 Nissan Maxima SE-L
3.0L V6 - 190hp

Race 2: 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse
3.0L V6 - 200hp

Race 3: 2001 Lincoln Continental
4.6L V8 - 275hp

Race 4: 1998 Volkswagen Jetta VR6
2.8L V6 - 172hp

Race 5: 199x Lexus SC300
3.0 I6 - 250hp

So, what were your times? After all, a drag strip would have timing equipment.

But hmm, drag strips aren't 'off road', they're prepped pavement. And half mile? Interesting...

Long story short, you can't compare any of them car for car. It's part driver, part car, part prep.

Could be an air strip that was rented out.

Power to weight, gearing, and VLSD. Oh and the lighter 5w30. I'm guessing the Eclipse and Continental were the closest. The Lincoln's 800lbs+ heavier. The VW and Lexus are both 16-17 hp/tq to weight ratios (Lexus is only like 225hp)
