Starting a couple days ago, during longer drives, I can feel the heat coming from the engine. At first its kind of warm, but after about 2 hours, my legs feel like they are on fire! This has never happened before, and I have no idea why it started. Any ideas?

maybe you have the air vents on the setting where the air vents blow to the ground. I know that even when I dont have the fan on, I can still feel air blowing through the vents because I have it on the fresh air setting but when I put it in recycle air mode then it stops.

 

Maybe a rubber seal or plug in the firewall has fallen out.

 

I feel the same thing when I have the temperature set to a high setting...even though the climate control unit is off...it seems to remember the last setting and continue the heat. Then I just turn on the climate control and turn the temparature lower and all is fine.
