firestone $145 lifetime aligment good deal!

i just got the firestone 159 - 15 dollar online coupon aligment. i think its a great deal considering every time you hit a curb or anything you might need alignment. they told me i can bring it back as often as once a week. and everytime you go its just a 6 dollar supply charge. and if you do anything with your suspension you dont have to worry about paying for aligment basicly for as long as u have the car its freeeeeee.

just wanted to give everyone a heads up on this deal.

Kinda sad that they're charging you every time you go there, all of the other 'lifetime' alignment deals I've seen are completely free after the initial purchase.

Anyway yes...they've been doing this for quite some time.

Now...

I'm waiting for some cash to come in so I can go do this...I'm tried of paying just tires 70 bucks plus tax...why do they charge tax on labor anyway? not like they're installing parts!

Either that or I gotta wait for my buddy at just tires itself to be on his day off to do it and its a real hassle

you know, unless your driving on back roads or they're full of potholes you dont need to waste your money. i mean, 1 alignment a year for me and cj's tire charges me 46.00 and i can go back as many times as i want to have them check it for free. its only good for 6 months, but im not wasting time and money anally checking my alignmrnt, thats stupid.

good luck trying to get an alignment w/ aftermarket suspension, esp coilovers. the one i went to wouldn't even take it b/c of that.

and i call BS on the $6 supply charge. kinda defeats the purpose of the "free lifetime" alignment. i would call that false advertising

I got that deal before and the Firestone i went to was the worse. i dont know about any1 else but they just dont want to do mine anymore. they keep telling me i need something repair to align my car. last time they told me my rack and pinion was leaking like crazy but yet my PS fluid was always full and my steering was great and that was 1yr ago and it still works. I like NTB. $140 for 3yrs and i get my done everything i get my tires rotated and balance which is like 3times a year. I guess its all depends about the store but i wouldnt get it where i live.

You know some of us dont go in all the time just because we're **** about alignment.

I personally like to upkeep my vehicle especially steering and suspension-wise. Lets say you changed struts and got an alignment, cool! lets say 7 months later your ball joints fail, are you gonna give up another 46 bucks at this "CJ's" place? Thats 92 bucks for 2 alignments which are worth together 1 year warranty. Lets say another 8 months later your rack and pinion goes which seems like something common on 4th gens.. thats another 46 bucks, that brings you to 138 and thats not counting sales tax. 46 itself is cheap for an alignment considering most places charge 70-110 bucks!

Call us **** about checking alignments but when you work on your suspension and not only moddingwise but also regular maintenance, it pays off in the long run if you're keeping your car.

there is no supply charge i used t o work for them there is no charge. Also the mechanic that brought your car in is gonna "recommend suggest,or require" remember those key word at all times when dealing with Firestone, they are not allowed to use the word "need". its call the Motorist assurane progam or M.A.P But having said that, the mechanic is gonna recommend work on your car that for HIM or HER is gonna pay the best Flat rate hours.a lifetime alignment pays them a 1.9 for a half hour job. I.E. Fuel injection cleaning 0.8, rad flush 0.8 so three of each these services that mechanic has just flagged 10.5hrs and the sad part is you probably did'nt need an alignment.I can probaby tell you what they recommended or suggested.but it is a great deal though.by the way alignments should be done twice a year (per Firestone)..
