Polished and cleaned throtle body

I cleaned and polised my throtle body today. It helped out an incredible amount it was probably just the cleaning but it still looks good. If any one is having problems with idle or just have a lot of miles on your max clean and adjust your throtle body

Can you direct me how to clean and adjust the throtle body?
I'm noticing a slight shake in my car at idle and I swear it's from my throtle body. I also noticed a slight decrease in my gas mileage. I talked to a dealer and they said nothing was wrong, but i swear it doesn't feel the same to me. (I should also say it started feeling this way sometime soon after I had the belt replaced by the dealer.) Maybe that might help also. can someone help?
Thanks

I took mines completely off. It was easier to clean and I could do a better job. Polishing it would be hella tedious.

I cleaned my throttle body

When i installed my cold air intake the other day the throttle body was exposed so i cleaned it, and with 123,000 miles on my max. It didnt look that bad! I was very suprised, so i got an oil change to achieve the balance idle.

Show some pics of a polished one. Would thee be any gains from polishing the inside like they do with the manifold. Probably less than one hp but just curious.

throttle body

I too did this, and recieved great results. Better low-end torque, smoother idle, and nicer acceleration. An easy thing to do to make noticiably better drive.

You did the polish or just the cleaning?
