I couldnt find any writeup on the 4th gen rear brake replacement with screenshots. I was wondering if anyone can help me with this, i'm trying to do my rear brakes and am having a bit of a hard time figuring out how to remove the ebrake cable to get to the pads.

I don't have pictures, but I can try explaining. The cable is clipped onto a bracket that's held to the caliper with a single 14mm bolt, accessible from underneath the bracket. Remove that bolt, and there might be enough play in the cable to unhook it. If not, remove the return spring, using your fingers. This will allow you to push the lever forward, and with enough patience the cable will unhook. Don't remove the big 17mm nut that holds the lever onto the caliper. The lever fits over a cam, and it can be hard to get the lever back onto the cam.

The rear disc brake caliper tool set, sold at Harbor Freight for $20, is a really big help turning the caliper piston.

Make sure you replace the brake hardware also. I had this loud rattle in the back for a long time, couldn't figure where it was coming from, one day I stepped on my brake and the noise went away. Went to Napa bought the kit for $18, replaced the old ones and bingo, no more noise. Car is nice and quiet again. I think everyone with rear end rattle should start with replacing this kit, if they know their shocks are in good condition, just my 2cents.

It depends on your level of "knowledge".

The first time I did it, it took about 2 hours (that includes jacking the car up and everything)

Now, I could probably do it in about 30-45 minutes

5 minutes, maybe? It's a quick process, takes just slightly longer than the fronts.

I have not yet seen a detailed cost effective list of all tools, accessories required to complete rear brake pad replacement without hours of frustration. Can I please get help in this matter? I am a beginner. Btw I saw rear ceramic pads set for $20 in eBay. Any experience to share about ceramic pads and its installation? Thank you very much as I am picking up more daring to DIM (do it myself)! Also is there a youtube video that is close to 4th generation situation? I have seen Eric the car guy for honda accord.
