Too pricey if you ask me. For that much you might as well do a VQ35 swap. Or for a couple hundred or less get a new VQ30.

Have you tried the chain tensioner rebuild yet?
It helped a little with mine ,it at least quiets down after warm up but it still a little noisy at start up (sometimes)
This whole timing chain noise thing bothers me but I have heard that chain failures on these engines just dont happen.
I have read a lot of posts with people who seem to live with it with no ill effects...IDK drives me nuts hearing that noise. One day I will pull the cover off and do the upgrade so until then...

Here's a great idea, how about you stop deleting all your other threads regarding this timing chain issue?? you are going to get the same freaking answers in this thread, as the other threads, but guess what, you cant see the damn answers in the other threads because you have deleted them..
Either pony up for a shop to fix the car, or do it yourself, yes i know in your other threads you said "i can't work on my own car due to no tools/place to do it" and "i can't afford to have it fixed"..but here's a Big news flash dude, Their is no magic bottles of oil that will fix worn parts, so give up on that notion. you have a few choices..
1. Take out a small loan to have it fixed by a shop.
2. Stop buying other things for the car, like new wheels, save up your money to have it fixed.
3. Get an org member near you that has done this before to fix the car at a lower price then a shop.
4. Live with the noise until it blows up.
5. Sell the car.
6. My suggestion..Any of the above will do..But stop starting threads about the same issue over and over again, then deleting them because you didn't get the answer you were looking for..
