Would a VQ37VHR fit in a 97 Max SE?

My 97 Max Se is stock right now but has 140,000 miles on it, I would like to do some add mods but not if its going to die anyway after another 100,000 miles. So If figure why not buy a new engine that would add the power I'm looking for and last a while. Also looking at the VQ35DE.

Why would it die with 240K? I have 215K and it still runs as if new. Many other have 240K and above and run the **** out of'em everyday. I would mod what you have. But thats me.

Yes, it'll fit.

There's a LOT more to it than that, but it'll physically fit in the engine bay, yes.

/thread.

Hey, if he can't be bothered to read the sticky (that I made) in the AM forum, then we'll all have a laugh when he goes to bolt it in. Or his mechanic does, rather.

This question is just pure fail, though.

You know your sarcastic responses aren't helping anyone, especially people that don't have the knowledge you do. I just wanted a simple response not some smart *** comment! The only sticky posted by you that I see is : Fault Indicator Light Diagnosis (If "trouble" lights are on, read here first!) + CEL and I don't think I'm going to get the answer there.

Fail.

First, I didn't even post that sticky. I just have a post in it.

Did you notice that I said in AM? No, apparently not.

http://forums.maxima.org/all-motor/5...s-lengthy.html

There ya go.

And you seriously expected to post asking whether or not a RWD VQ will fit in the Max without getting flamed?

A VQ37, at that?

Had you done the LEAST bit of searching, you would've figured that out. Yet, you couldn't even manage to search...

So a VQ35DE swap is possible and done regularly, however since its RWD is would take a lot of work and cost?
