My 97 Max Se is stock right now but has 140,000 miles on it, I would like to do some add mods but not if its going to die anyway after another 100,000 miles. So If figure why not buy a new engine that would add the power I'm looking for and last a while. Also looking at the VQ35DE.

Why would it die with 240K? I have 215K and it still runs as if new. Many other have 240K and above and run the **** out of'em everyday. I would mod what you have. But thats me.

my bad, gimme a break, i could have easily used the spare S10 driveshaft in my backyard, but i decided to go with something else. ur still the first rwd, its ok.

 

they may have had the first rwd and awd maximas

but I had the first Twin turbo 3.7 RWD swapped maxima
