Stained Glass spray is what is popular among the people that have done it.

Also, Testors model paint has transparent colors(hence, the candy apple red for the tails people use), however I am unsure if they make an amber color.

okay, few last questions. Did you apply that krylon paint to OEM bumper lens OR to clear lens? Would that paint match the OEM orange?

I painted clear bumper lights to match. I dont think you could match the stock amber too easy.

You can get it at Michael's Craft Store... the Top of the can is yellow top.

you spray the outside. It will go from pale yellow > yellow > amber > orange...

You can kinda match the OEM bumpers BUT its going to be really dark.

Just paint it with Clear Orange spray paint. I'm also into model cars, so I used Tamiya spray paint on mine, and it ended up fine.

Ah, post 20 (which is just post 13 quoted).

If you look at the thread where he first did them, the recommendation given was somewhere around half a dozen coats.

If you search, you'll find that thread.
