Even more ridiculous.

The result of an inexperienced driver with a (relatively) powerful car?

And this guy was in his 30s, IIRC.

Hey, you can actually see Merlyn's max in the background of the first pic, next to the orange Z.

uhum...
ok i got another question.
i know that getting HIDS in the regular house will create glare, but is it that bad that it may cause an accident or what?

cause i always see ricers with HIDs and their stock housing and it doesnt really blind me at all, and i can still now its stock because of the way it looks with no projectors

share opinions people

If you put HID bulbs in a stock halogen reflector, you're just a douchebag. Especially at night...

And 100k miles means...what?

This isn't a 60's Chevy truck, 100k miles isn't much for any car these days.

Obviously you'd need supporting equipment.

But again, read my post.

If you use HID bulbs in a stock housing, you're a douchebag.

...did you read the stickies? http://forums.maxima.org/4th-generat...-housings.html

you have 2 practical options: performance halogen (silverstars/xtravision/etc.) or a full HID retrofit (search)

it's possible he's using D2R bulbs and got lucky that the light was patterned similar to D2R housings, but it's unlikely

Was it with an A32? Are you sure it was with completely stock headlights otherwise? Sure they weren't ricer bulbs, and were actually HIDs?

Regardless, just go with a damn projector retrofit.

But again, WHY would you want to put HIDs and all of these mods on a beater? Seriously, just leave the damn thing stock for a year, wait for the G35.

Whoa there Mr. 100k miles. My 2000 se has 96,000 miles and the other day I pulled off plastic from the factory I found on the seat when doing my leather swap out. My engine is clean enough to eat off of and my paint looks like it just rolled out of the factory. Mileage is nothing. Care is what makes the car.

understanding that this is a little late in the thread:

i personally prefer the 95-96 because... 1) at first i wanted to swap my front bumper to a 97-99, but then i realized that they look IDENTICAL to corollas and camrys of comparable years (even though i've always liked the corolla). 2) the 97-99 tails look like a civics of similar years as well (again, still a decent car). and 3) i just like the front grill better as well.

inside, they're almost identical sooo... overall the 95-96 is better imho
