po138 o2 sensor

bank 1 sensor 2, i tried searching on here with the exact location of this but couldnt find any threads forgive me if there but where exactly is this sensor???? its a non cali spec car. I need to know what sensor to buy because i have a friend that can put one in. is it after cat or before cat im confused

Post converter sensor, like any other Fed spec 4th gen.

Have you tested it or done any diagnostics, or are you just replacing it because you've got a code for it?

ahh post...ok....well i had an upstream go on me a month ago and now the p0138 read(auto zone checked) and ive been getting crappy gas mileage and performance is lagging so i assume yea i need to change it out. i read somewhere once 1 goes out chances are all need to be changed.

The rear has absolutely zero affect on fuel mileage, emissions, or performance.

Again, test it before you just up and replace it.
