I can understand how ya feel. Of course it woulda been better if she hit a tree, mailbox, or boulder but it was fortunate she didn't hit a car with someone inside or someone not inside a car. I guess we can say it's fortunate you weren't in the baby when it was stuck.

you don't have to be covered - her insurance will pay for everything + you get a new car (something to be pissed but happy about)

So sorry about that, it SUCKS when bad luck throws you in a corner.

And I hope the insurance company pays for at least the full price of the car, because knowing those companies they will most likely pay you less than the worth of the car. Or at least that was what happened when someone ran into my families SUV

good luck man. once they come out to figure out how much ur gonna get i would take as many parts out as you can.

I got about 3k worth of parts out of my old pickup after they decided how much i was gonna get and before the tow truck came.

You should let them know she tried to flee the scene. It isn't going to mean anything for you but the DA should know what she did.

I'm with whoever said about removing parts before the tow truck shows. They're just going to total it and cash you out. I'm looking for a brighter set of headlights -- hint, hint.

Insurance companies get rich by writing big checks? Yeah right. My 96 i30 with 80k miles barely got 9k... and that was 4 yrs ago.

Oh I so agree!!!!

Sorry for the lose mate! That sucks. I like the F40 idea, but maybe a G35 instead At least you weren't in the car, doesn't sound like anyone was hurt, at least that's good - I guess. Although, she would have been hurt if it were my Max!
