You say this as if I/we are supposed to know this. It was not obvious....An aluminum ypipe could be in "mint condition"
y u pickin on me? jk. Everyone knows its aluminized steel (hopefully), aluminum is too soft and has a much lower melting point than steel or stainless steel for that matter. I've taken Chem 1 and 2 in college too

It will still corrode and turn too a brown-rusty color after a few months. aka my Alum B-pipe.

Budget and Warpspeed are two different companies. I believe both offer both versions.

If you're on the east coast, ss is a must. Personally, I think ss is a must regardless of location, but that's just me.

SS sounds better too (I've heard both, same car, same mods etc)

I think the extra $60 is worth it for SS. Just a better quality material IMO. I have one and have no probs.... (well install was a bit annoyin for KRRZ350)

Recently I sold my 96 which had a budget y-pipe.
several buyers said you had a leaking headers. I said no, it's a y-pipe but they could never understand it.

i have had no issues with my budget/lss stainless steel y-pipe...and ivel stayed in tn and its made it for 2years strong with the bad weather of tn snow road salt and it still looks like the day i bought it..its got a few small dings from being lowered too low and hitting small rocks in the road but its quality is awesome and for the price it was even better! next to a cattman i would recomend the budget pipe..it has the best sound no bees in a can just a nice low tone

Exactly. I dont know why people bag on items they have no experience with. I ran aBudget Y pipe for years, and if I hadnt gotten a good deal on my Cattman headers I would still be using it.
