I just wanted to know if the rear seats go down in the 99 maximas so that you can store more stuff. And if so, which year did they add this?

I ask this because I used to drive a 96 sentra gxe and both rear seats went completely down. And my brother wants to buy a maxima but hes not sure if it will give him enough room for his mountain bike. I put 2 bikes in my maxima so I know that they fit but you have to move the seats all the way forward and its annoying. So I was wondering if possibly they added folding rear seats in the older models of the 4th gen maxima, seeing how I own a 1995 GLE. Thanks

 

95-99 maximas can't fold down the back seat. it would be much better if it can fold it down.

 

Wow thats gay, I figured that they would've added it seeing how a lesser model car had it (The sentra) well, thanks for the reply.

 

Could always do the back seat fold up mod, if you wanted to be able to pass stuff through the trunk.

What's even gayer is our 2005 3 series without fold down seats or a passthrough. And my old 05 Legacy GT with only a passthrough. It was my dumb *** that bought all these cars, but seriously, WTF?
