Question about AGX's ??

Alright I went to a KYB dealer (little parts place) by my school on wed to ask for a price on the AGX's...well the guy looked and looked and said if you wanted to put them on your would have to "bypass the electronic suspension in my car" what is he talkin about ? He must have not known that much cause he gave me a price of 160$ each for the fronts and 120$ each for the back alittle high at 560$$

you should smack the guy that quoted you that price, and order them from either cattman or from greg @ custommaxima.com !

If you have a 4th gen, the guy is an idiot. Only some 2nd gens had electronic suspension. Also, he was quoting you MSRP for sure. Get a quote from shox.com, or get them from Cattman.

why even bother to go to a place that doesn't know what he is doing? Just get them from CustomMaxima or Phuong or Cattman all around $380 to 400 and then get them installed at a place that knows what they are doing!!!

Yeah what he said. I went to one of my local 'auto-toys' place (Planet Auto Toys on Queens Blvd. for those in NYC) and asked them to quote me on a full set of AGX's. And guess the price he tells me, $470.00 for all 4, and $620.00 installed. Obviously since I knew that was the best deal I would ever get in my life for anything, I went ahead and bought 'em from them...NOT. In any case don't trust these stupid stores, just order them online from cattman or custommaxima or wherever and either install them yourself or get them installed. And see at least if I didn't hang out on this forum, I never would've known that you can get a full set for $380.00 and probably would've gotten ripped off somewhere.
