Oxygen Sensor question (4 wire)

Oxygen Sensor question (4 wire)
I once bought a brand new set of O2 sensors for a 97 Mercury Sable (that I had to shortly donate, as it was failing emissions, low pressure on 1 cylinder - I just hated that car - so I donated it).
But the sensors had hardly seen a few hundred miles, so I removed them and put in the old O2 sensors.
My Maxima (CA spec) is getting in the 120 K mile range. I wonder if I can use the 4 wire (after splicing with Maxima connector) as replacement.
I was hoping the Universal sensor for the 2 models were same for 4 wire, but they are not. For example - it is Bosch 15730 for the Sable, and Bosch Part Number 15727 for the Nissan Maxima. I wonder if the actual sensors are identical.
Thanks,
Manish

They do appear to be the same, looking at the product info.
Test the O2s per the FSM, see what you come up with. You're going to have to figure out what wire goes where, though.
Between that and a visual inspection, you should be able to determine whether or not they will work.
