i have a 95 gxe and since i have gotten it about 5 months ago it has squeeked when the suspension travels up or down, so i assumed it was just the old, worn struts/springs so about a week ago i replaced them and still the same annoying squeek.

i was reading that if you spary wd-40 on the piston of the strut and if it stops then the strut is defective but no it still squeeks, all the bolts/nuts are tightened by hand not extreme but tight. the new springs and struts have the coil covers to prevent squeeking, it seems to make the noise on just the drivers side not the passengers side. has anyone ever had this problem? it gets really annoying when driving by yourself with the windows down just crusing round town.

the springs are megan racing 2" drop frt and rear with gabriel over the counter struts- i know not the best setup but struts have lifetime warranty so im ok with that

 

Did you replace just the springs and struts? Did you replace the strut mount bearings as well?

Have you checked all other steering/suspension components? Inspect ball joints, tie rod ends, and most notably sway bar end links.

Have you searched, and read through all of the relevant threads?

well no i just replaced the struts and the springs the mounts were re-used as for the list of threads thanks i searched and found some but not all
