brake pad help

Hey. i have a 96 maxima and im about to change the brake pads and was going to use raybestos advanced tech pads(used to be quiet stops i think). when i went to buy the pads the person at lordco said that if i use them with the stock rotors that it would warp them and i should use the pro grade ones. i put the pro grade ones on another car that i had and it sqeaked a lot so i figured i would try the A/T ones this time. my question is if i use the raybestos A/T pads should i change the rotors first or will the stock ones work fine? would the pro grade ones work fine if i use some anti squeak on them? finally lordco wants i think $130 for the front and $110 ($CAN funds) for the rears. is there anyplace that i can get them cheaper in vancouver or online or is that the going rate?

Thanks for the help.

I think that as long as you get your current rotors resurfaced you can use whatever pads you want along with some of that anti squeek grease and you should be fine. no reason to buy new rotors when your old ones just need to be freshened up a bit, around here a machine shop charges like 10-15bucks a rotor not bad compared to a 100 dollar plus one

Take the time to seat the pads. Do a search on it. It involves stopping the car from different speeds....
