Winter Wheels

Since the temperature is dropping around here (Midwest) I decided to take of my 17's and put back on the factory 15's steel wheels. My question to you guys is should i go an spend money on hub caps for the steel wheels or drive around without without them, I lost two of the hub caps last winter sliding around in the snow and if I do buy some more hub caps should I go back to the salvage yard to get another pair or should I buy a pair of those cheesy chrome wheel caps? What do you guys think?

I'd probably go pick up a set of hubcaps someplace that look decent enough to get you through the winter, I wouldn't worry about shelling out the cash for OEM hubcaps.

Tire Rack

I'd order a set of covers from the Tire Rack. They're about $25 a set, and I've never lost one or broken one. For what they are, they look respectable, and are a big improvement over plain steel wheels.

Thats a good question, because either way, I don't think you'd care too much how the car would look (no hubbies vs. stock hubbies vs. wal-mart hubbies). But if you honestly can't stand the bare steelie look, I'd say a set of wal-mart/tire rack/car and driver hubbies should tide you over 'til the green grass shows again.
