rofl...nice try guys.

if there was a set of coilovers to buy, it would be these. the main reason being: you can choose your own dampers, like konis.

ground control+koni=ftw. stiff, but ftw.

I made this suggestion to the admins to make it the default, but was ignored.

And they wonder why people make stupid threads like this

I found all good reviews on this forum for these coilovers. It is general car moding knowledge that ground control is the best "Non-Full Body" coilover and when paired with a good damper like Koni Yellows can be a ride well worth the money. That said I agree with other members that ebay may not be the best place to buy them especially seeing as how that price is fair, at best. Consider a full body coilover if you are looking to do both coilovers and dampers; mainly because the coilovers are 370 and the struts\shocks will run about 400-500, I have found full body coilovers for 850 before and that would be your best way to go. (if your looking for ride hieght adjustment otherwise go for really good springs and dampers)

You had the first part correct.

You had the second part wrong. There are no coilovers made for the maxima within the price range of these that can even begin to compare to these.

Full coilovers for $850? Go search and see how those review...

you started out good

Ground control springs with koni dampers is the ONLY coilover setup to have regardless of price (assuming you want a proper suspension setup). Now, consider that it's really not any more expensive than the "full body" coilovers, as you say, and there's no comparison.

NEVAR buy other coilovers (like Ksport, D2, Tein, Megan, etc.). The ONLY advantage they have is that you can slam them, and still retain decent travel. BUT, considering their crappy, inconsistent dampers, that one advantage is completely a moot point. Performance, reliability and quality are NOT THERE. Just look for shock dynos of ksport dampers and you'll see what I mean....not to mention the frequency of their dampers blowing out.

ground control + koni or GTFO.

Incorrect. Clearly you dont understand the way things work around here.

You asked. I answered with the response I deemed most appropriate. And, considering the majority of people that know what they're talking about also agree with me, logically, my response has the majority support.

Im not sure how you managed to search and not come up with anything...

Whats the deal? you got a maxima.

If you got lots of power under the hood and you like to turn hard, your gonna need better suspension. If your not gonna carve hard or hit 300hp, go with the suspension setups you see, GCs, D2, Ksport, etc..

Spending new money your suspension will result in better suspension than what you already have PLUS itll look better.

Oh, and for the record, it doesn't **** me off. It just confuses me as to how these threads ever even come into existence with the abundance of information out there.

I actually didnt search, because I didnt think I had to search in order to ask if anyone used these coilovers before. Its no biggie, I was jus wondering had anyone had them on their car, or knew anyone that did. I didnt feel like cyphering through threads to find out when I can just ask and have someone who's had them answer me. That makes the most sense to me, but I guess I have wronged you so for that I apologize. I didnt mean to raise your blood pressure from this thread, was just asking a simple question. Next time I'll know how the forum process works. Thanks...
