Hmmm Canadian dyno?? Well Canada as well as 90%+ of the countries on the planet earth use the metric system. USA is the only country I know of personally that still uses the imperial system.

Running 2 dynos back to back got me a number differnce of 4 HP with NOTHING done to the car in between the runs. How many times did you dyno? Once?

Alright, the NHRA has said that for every 10 degrees in temp over 60 degrees, you loose about 2% of your power. Ideal racing temps are between 50-60 degrees. With all that said, I've run much higher trap speeds WITH the UDP in MUCH warmer temps than I ran my best. I'm only 0.02 off my best and I was exceeding my best trap speeds by over 1mph. Without the UDP I NEVER got any better than 94.01mph. With the UDP, I've run almost all 94-95mph+ trap speeds (unless I had a bad launch or shift). That right there says my car is stronger especially when I'm running in warmer weather (70s+) vs my best in cooler weather (40s). By your post, it appeats you're suggesting that I will probably run slower in cooler weather. What kind of racer are you? Benchracer? Most gearheads know that trap speed is a clear indicator of how fast the car can really be. I will be dynoing next Saturday and I plan on putting this debate COMPLETELY to rest.

Who here thinks Sprint and Med will be in line to buy UDPs once they ride in a Max with one installed, more less get pulled on by one

I'm buying one, that's how convinced I am. I've seen a dyno and trap speeds to back it up now, I don't know what else can be said to convince someone.

I have PULLED on TWO that have them installed with the same mods. And yes, I'm a bench racer, I have only run my car in the 1/4 30 times for far. Call me a newbie.

Anyone else with an UDP notice this? I am considering this Mod in the future and you guys almost have my convinced it's worth it, but I do not want to do anything that hurts the smoothness and drivability of my 'family car'.

Edit - BTW I have a 5 speed. (forgot the sigs where still down)

At first yes. But its something that you can quickly adapt to. Just takes getting used to, as I imagine something like a lightened flywheel would.

Not a big deal. Oh, and I'd imagine that it would only apply to 5-speeds.
