Need help with remote power windows

So last we had horrible thunderstorms and my keyless remote decided to **** me off for the last time. Sometime in the middle of the night my windows decided to roll down. I woke up this morning to standing water in my seats and very wet carpet. This was the final straw. How do I disengage the remote power window feature on my 1999????

OMG... I feel you on that. Last year i had that same problem. But mines would happen at work. come to find out one of my co-workers had a aftermarket remote she brought off e-bay and ever she would use her remote it would unlock my car and roll down the windows. Maybe someone in your area has another remote.

But l beleive there a fuse for this option. I never had to look because i stop taking my max to work.

There's no way to disable just the remote rolldown feature. You could disable keyless entirely, the BCM entirely, the individual windows, etc. But there's no way I've ever seen or heard of to disable just that one option.

Welcome to the trouble of the IVMS system.
